Sunny has presented her artworks since 2006.
Sunny Youngsun Cho was born and raised in S. Korea. She Majored in Psychology and Clothing and Textiles in University. She worked in the fashion industry as a designer before she moved to Canada in 2002. She first got the chance to join the local artist group in 2005 and fell in love with painting. Her love for art has only grown since then as painting still brings her great joy. Sunny's professional work mainly consists of acrylics and water colour. She has painted a number of different subjects including people, animals, landscape and still-life. Whenever Sunny begins a new piece, she feels challenged at the diversity of the medium and the subject.
Sunny is part of the North Shore Artist Guild (NSAG) and an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) as well as the North Vancouver Community Arts Council.
